My own theology, Catholic view on Original Sin.

God made Mary free of original sin because she was chosen to be the Mother of Jesus

We were born into original sin because Adam and Eve did not listen to Gods commands

There is good instilled in us by God,
There is original sin we were born into but this sin was not instilled but we were born into it- not with it. (if I believe My God is loving and that He made me in his image then I must believe he did not create us sinners!)

We are sinners for that reason alone, not because the holy spirit is not foremost instilled into us, but we must choose to have faith and ask him to stay in us and guide us.

It IS NOT the reason we sin, we do that in knowing the law book and doing exactly as Adam and Eve did- disregard it!
But we as the Jewish closely believe we were not born sinners, we were born into a place of sinners and temptations but instilled with Gods love in the likeness of Jesus. We have a path to choose, we know what causes hurt and right from wrong. We don't go around saying I was born a sinner so I will go out sinning!
