Face To Face With Your Immortality

I’m being a little nostalgic or philosophical out loud but wake up calls summons and beckons reflection.

Sometimes we get news that questions and trials our earthly survival.

So when your mouth drops and you fall to your knees...

It’s Daunting

and humbling as you know how tiny you are in Gods creation.

For a moment you are in awe of how great God is and

How significantly, magnificently

tiny you are.

It’s surreal to see and envision the future won’t have you.

The future will go on without you.

Suddenly the reality of that life you lived in just a blink of an eye stands before you - mirroring the fact that here on earth you have no place no more and nothing is yours.

The only things that are yours are the memories of the life you live...

And you look to the future, the day after you pass...

Where will you be?

The windows not open and you just can’t see.

You try to look really hard but you can’t see...

Maybe it’s too dark, maybe it’s too bright... you can’t see.

So you ask yourself,

Did you hear what God said?

Believe, have faith and then you will surely find your peace.

There’s a beautiful light and peace that surpasses all.

I know, I was lucky enough to see it once.

Philippians 4:6-7

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

  • 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus

Never forget to love the world... his ruler is Satan and Satan destroys Gods people and God will cast him out. Our trials are

to be like God not like Satan.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

John 12:31 The time for judging this world has come, when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out.

10. James 4:4 You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

I personally wish God had made this beautiful earth and world he created into Heaven because

His creations are beautiful but as we know we haven’t defeated the devil here... too much evil here.

The living word is in the Bible.

One thing for sure is:

The Lord Your God Will Be With You Wherever You Go.

Joshua 1:9

Hold his hand. 🙌🏼

1 John 4:4

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

This is reality...

One day we all come face to face with our last.

Prepare. Know Gods Peace.

Hezekiah 20:5 KJV "I have heard thy prayer, saith the Lord."

I am sharing a bible passage that I wound up reading and touched me because a few graces that I was blessed with in My life I praise only God for and have for many years from my near death experience to spending time with Grandsons before I die and so many things between that, I have many blessings nothing on this earth could even begin to come close to making them come true. what better time than Christmas to at least share and inspiring story of one beautiful prayer. His prayer had me in tears, He knows how to pray. Simple but amazing. Hezekiah should be a fine example of God's graces, as well as even inadvertently falling from them. in his prayer he was amazing and humble... and when the power he was graced with took him away from God, he lost those God given gifts, He was given the best gift... temporal extension of a temporal life from a death sentence. But He fell and abused the power and treasures he inherited instead of praising God and returning the love. This life is in fact temporal and its a gift and if God gives you a grace, make yourself worthy and say Thank You, seek Him because He is your reason and He has been your salvation. I happened to be reading: 2 Kings 20:5 and Hezekiah's prayer: Isaiah 38:5 KJV/NIV At time of death sentence, as well as the commentary on so happens Bible Gateway was the source It was one of many many I haven't read and a good one. So when things seem hopeless, which it often feels around Christmas or if someones sick... read these, they are inspiring and a good lesson all the way around. source Bible Gateway: Hezekiah's sickness, His recovery in answer to prayer. COMMENTARY BY Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary on the Bible is available in the Public Domain. Hezekiah was sick unto death, in the same year in which the king of Assyria besieged Jerusalem. A warning to prepare for death was brought to Hezekiah by Isaiah. Prayer is one of the best preparations for death, because by it we fetch in strength and grace from God, to enable us to finish well. He wept sorely: some gather from hence that he was unwilling to die; it is in the nature of man to dread the separation of soul and body. There was also something peculiar in Hezekiah's case; he was now in the midst of his usefulness. Let Hezekiah's prayer, see Isa 38. interpret his tears; in that is nothing which is like his having been under that fear of death, which has bondage or torment. Hezekiah's piety made his sick-bed easy. to O Lord, remember now; to he does not speak as if God needed to be put in mind of any thing by us; nor, as if the reward might be demanded as due; it is Christ's righteousness only that is the purchase of mercy and grace. Hezekiah does not pray, Lord, spare me; but, Lord, remember me; whether I live or die, let me be thine. God always hears the prayers of the broken in heart, and will give health, length of days, and temporal deliverances, as much and as long as is truly good for them. Means were to be used for Hezekiah's recovery; yet, considering to what a height the disease was come, and how suddenly it was checked, the cure was miraculous. It is our duty, when sick, to use such means as are proper to help nature, else we do not trust God, but tempt him. For the confirmation of his faith, the shadow of the sun was carried back, and the light was continued longer than usual, in a miraculous manner. This work of wonder shows the power of God in heaven as well as on earth, the great notice he takes of prayer, and the great favour he bears to his chosen. (2Ki 20:12-21) 2 Kings 20 King James Version (KJV) 20 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. 2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying, 3 I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord. 6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake. 7 And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered. 8 And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the Lord the third day? 9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees? 10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees. 11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the Lord: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz. 12 At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick. 13 And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not. 14 Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon. 15 And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them. 16 And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord. 17 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord. 18 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. 19 Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days? 20 And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? 21 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead. KJV Isaiah 38 King James Version (KJV) 38 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. 2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, 3 And said, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 4 Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city. 7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken; 8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down. 9 The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness: 10 I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years. 11 I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world. 12 Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me. 13 I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me. 14 Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O Lord, I am oppressed; undertake for me. 15 What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul. 16 O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live. 17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. 18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. 19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth. 20 The Lord was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the Lord. 21 For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaister upon the boil, and he shall recover. 22 Hezekiah also had said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the Lord?

SET FORTH BY THE KING

THE EARTHLY PURPOSE SET FORTH BY THE KING LIFE IS ALL BASED ON A THEORY OF A NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE CHALLENGE AND REMAINS THE SOLE PURPOSE OF THIS EARTHLY LIFE.. THE CHALLENGE IS BEING EXPECTED TO DO GOOD WORKS, IN SOME CASES SHORT OF MIRACULOUS WORKS IN A WORLD WHERE EVERYONE YOU MEET IS THE PROPHET OF DOOM, AND YET ALL OTHERS A VICTIM OF ACTUAL DOOM. WHERE THE LIFE IS SUCKED OUT OF YOU MORE OFTEN BY BOTH KINDS, WHILE FORBEARING THE HEARTACHES OF THE EVENTUAL NEGATIVE OUTCOMES IN THE END OF EVEN THE BEST WELL SPENT ATTEMPTS. SO WHAT TO DO?… WHAT IS IT ALL FOR ANYWAY? REMEMBER THE "strait” gate ENTER YE IN AT THE STRAIGHT GATE… Matthew 7:13,14 ITS HARD, SO HARD… BUT ITS THE ONLY GATE TO HEAVEN. JUST AS WE DO NOT JUDGE OTHERS, DON’T JUDGE YOURSELF A FAILURE! GOD IS THE ONLY JUDGE. YOUR HOPE SHOULD’NT BE IN THIS WORLD, ITS DESIGNED TO DEFEAT. IF IT WASNT WE WOULD ALL BE LOOKING FOR TREASURES HERE AND WE WOULD PRESENT WITH THE 7 DEADLY SINS AND NOT CARE ABOUT THE COMMANDMENTS. PRAY FOR FORGIVENESS WHEN YOU FAIL TO DO GOOD INSTEAD. REMEMBER… THE WIDE GATE IS THE GATE TO HELL, BE IT TEMPTATION, BE IN EASY TO DO WITHOUT THE PAIN AND HARDSHIP OF OTHER CHOICES. IT IS THE GATE TO HELL. IF YOU HAVE BEEN CONFORMED TO THE EVIL WAYS OF THIS WORLD BECAUSE ALL YOUR GOOD WORKS FAILED IN YOUR EYES YOU HAVE LIMITED YOUR LIFE TO THE FAILURES OF THIS WORLD THAT HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO DEFEAT YOU. YOU HAVE TO CONQUER IT, THATS YOUR GOAL FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOOD WORKS. IF YOU CANNOT, YOU DONT JUST TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT AND GIVE UP. YOU MUST GO ON AND CONTINUE TO SPREAD YOUR GOOD WORKS. YOU CANNOT DO THAT IF YOU SUBMIT TO THE DEVIL WHO LIES AND TELLS YOU DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, THERE ARE NO CONSEQUENCES. THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES AND ONE DAY YOU WILL FACE THEM BOTH HERE ON EARTH AND BEFORE GOD. DO NOT BELIEVE SATAN OR MAN (who tell you the way is easy) BELIEVE JESUS, HIS WORDS ARE WRITTEN IN MATTHEW. BELIEVE GOD AND DO HIS WILL ANYWAY. DON’T BE JUDGED BY MAN, DON’T JUDGE YOURSELF, LET GOD BE WHO HE IS IS, THE ONLY JUDGE. ~Angel Cher .

One Day You Might Need Me

One day you might need me...

But right now there is someone who
Needs you
One day you may need a smile
But right now someone cries
You might need some food
But right now someone's hungry
You might need a home
but right now someone sleeps
In the cold
You might need love
But right now someone has none
You might need a hand to hold
But right now someone dies alone

God: Give all you have to those in need and  when you need Me,
I will give the same  unto
you.

Through you God's good works are done, so it is through
Those who need you his works for you will be returned.
