Be A Light

Be a light for those in the darkness
Let your light shine bright enough
To lift them from the very depths of despair
Light a candle and vow to light the darkness
For all those who are lost, alone, afraid and mourning
God hasn't forgotten them, 
Don't let Him forget You
Let your light shine bright enough for the
Heavens to see
Because one day the light of the world will
Come looking For His own.


We all get down once in awhile but with the strength of a smile, a kind
Word or good deed
We can get by, we actually have the power in our soul 
To save another's life, it's a power instilled by God
we are capable of bringing light, we only know our true
Measure by the acts of love we give and then,  I know I have felt it...
it's a measure so much greater than all the gifts we treasure in this world
It's a light big enough for God himself to see.
