Sunflower Texture
This was My first attempt at texture and I kinda like it. Gregg Obst posted one today of his Osprey and it had Me inspired to do texture, I had fun with it.
I may have overdone it and made it a bit noisy looking but I was happy at My first attempt, Now I am going to look up some brick textures I have taken and others and put them in a folder for a rainy day.

Humans DO Stupid Things sometimes! (awww... Baby House Wren)
I went to the nesting house I had for the baby bluebirds and although Mama bluebird was found in the house after the house sparrows had killed her about a month ago :( I had noticed there were House Wrens moving in - this was about 3 or so weeks ago. I had thought they may be gone and had wondered if they were even born, though I heard them the other day when in the pool I still wasn't sure that it was the babies I heard and if Mama was feeding them? So out of curiosity I went to see if there was an empty nest since I hadn't seen Mama there the past 2 days, well this lil guy nearly fell out, I had to reposition him because I couldn't close the door and this is the first time I ever seen a baby wren and OMG what a cutie! SO I thought I would share how adorable they are!
I really have to stop being curious, it is not fair to them!! I really thought they left a few days ago!
It appears they are all safe and I hope they will all grow up well.
I had My macro out looking for dragonflies and butterflies and didnt see any really.
I am going out to nail a butterfly now I hope!

Sunrise @ Long Branch
It Is worth waking up to! Seeing the sunrise is just amazing... especially when it is so beautiful. I love to see the sun rise, it is an awesome start to the day and a great time to reflect on life.

Team Penning at Curry Farms
Since Team Penning is done about dusk
it is pretty hard to get some good action shots.
So i have about 2 hours to get all the shots I can! :)
I love watching the team penning and have family and friends who ride there.
Its a great night out.
I bring My camera anyway in case I can get some before sundown.
